About Us

Child of God Scholé exists to provide a restful, life-giving education rooted in the Charlotte Mason philosophy for Catholic and Christian homeschooling families. We seek to cultivate an atmosphere of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness in community, where children are formed as whole persons made in the image of God.

  • Child of God Scholé is:
    • Christ-centered — nurturing a love of God and reverence for His creation, with prayer and worship at the heart of our time together.
    • Faithful to Charlotte Mason — offering a feast of subjects including nature study, picture study, hymns, folk songs, poetry, handicrafts, and living books, all in a spirit of scholé—holy leisure.
    • Welcoming and ecumenical — rooted in the Catholic tradition while honoring the unity of Christians; we aim to be a place of mutual respect and shared love for a rich, faith-infused education.
    • Community-oriented — supporting families and building friendships among children and parents alike through shared learning, service, and celebration.
